Essay

Object of research - newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis. The aim of investigation - to study the special characteristics of bronchial potency and mucociliary transport (MCT) among the patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis (NDPTB) by way of developing the methods of diagnostics which aim to reveal the negative in time. The methods of research - clinical, laboratoral, biochemical, functional, roentgenological, statistical. Results - the peculiarities of respiratory functions among the patients with NDPTB in Donetsk region have been identified. It has been defined that a one-time influence in standard combination (isoniazid, rifampicin, pirazinimide and ethambutol) is accompanied and a tendency of decrease in absolute indexes of lung capacity. The normalization is gained by prescribing two inhalation doses of bronchodelatator of double action, which contains beta-2-agonist and holynolitic of short action (phenoterol 100mcg and iprotropium bromide 20 mcg). A truly decrease of total lung capacity happens due to reducing the residual volume and is the peculiarity of lung insufficiency among patient with a destructive forms of tuberculosis in an epidemic period in comparison with a pre-epidemic period. Area of application - phthysiology.
