The aim of the study was to determine features of cardio-vascular system pathology in patients with chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN) and to ground calcium channel antagonist amlodipin usage for myocardial state improvement. The bioelectric activity violation of myocardium due to metabolic disorders in patients with CGN was found. The factors of that state risk are systemic inflammation, arterial hypertension with non-dipper and night-picker types, endothelial dysfunction, increased level of atherogenic blood lipids, increased aggregation and adhesion of erythrocytes and platelets. Combined therapy of CGN by using angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, statins, antiagrigants and calcium channel antagonist amlodipin achieve to control arterial hypertension and authentically decrease systemic inflammatory reactions, signs of endothelial dysfunction and violation of microcirculation.
