Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to solving the dynamic problems for discretely reinforсed axially symmetric shells on elastic foundation under action of pulsed forces. The new equations of the shell dynamics are deduced on the basis of the Timoshenko theory with the help of the Hamilton-Ostrogradsky principle. The problems about axially symmetric vibrations of discretely reinforced cylindrical and spherical shells on one - and two-parametric elastic foundation are solved on the on the basis of integro-interpolated method with the us of elaborated numerical algorithms. The analysis of influence of the ambient elastic medium property and the reinforcing ribs arrangement on the mechanical effects in the heterogeneous shells of revolution is performed.
