Yarosheva N. Modified method efficacy of patient’s treatment with diabetic retinopathy

Object: diabetic retinopathy. The purpose: to increase efficacy of patients' treatment with diabetic retinopathy by application of preparation "Lipophlavon". Research methods: ophthalmologic, immunological, biochemical, statistical; апаратура: апарат Humphrey-740, Carl Zeissn visucam lite, Stratus OCT-3000. Essential increase of pro-inflammatory cytokines at preproliferative and at proliferative diabetic retinopathy is revealed for the first time in patients with diabetic retinopathy. Scientific knowledge are expanded about that functional activity of lymphocytes is increased at glucose and insulin (in vitro) influence. For the first time in conditions in vitro under influence of mononuclear lymphocytes of patients' blood with diabetic retinopathy and lipopolysaccharide, activity changes of endothelial cells have been revealed. For the first time it is revealed, that application of lipophlavon in complex treatment of patients with diabetic retinopathy promotes to more expressed reduction of proinflammatory cytokines. The new modified method of patient's treatment with diabetic retinopathy with application of lipophlavon instillation and intravenous injections in complex therapy is developed and introduced with the aim of increase of treatment efficacy. Results of the work are introduced in practice of 9 ophthalmologycal departments of Ukrainian medical institutions and used in lectures of Crimean state medical university and the state medical university in Zaporozhye.
