The work deals with diagnostics of a machine-building enterprise economical stability. The semantic interpretations of the "enterprise" and "enterprise economical stabil-ity" concepts have been analyzed. The semantic kernel of enterprise economical stability concept has been fixed. The diagnostics areas of enterprise economical stability within the bounds of the structure organizational, functional, objective, process, situational ap-proaches to the enterprise conception have been defined. The image of diagnostics areas of enterprise economical stability has been made more exact. The appropriateness of economical diagnostics procedures using to enterprise economical stability has been proved. The use preconditions of enterprise economical stability diagnostics procedures have been researched. The notion of the "enterprise economical stability diagnostics" has been specified. The modern analytical and synthetical diagnostics procedures of enter-prise economical stability have been analyzed. The process of machine-building enter-prise stability diagnostics has been improved. The set of analytical procedures and the set of synthetical procedures in the structure of enterprise economical stability diagnostics have been picked out. The existing methodical approaches to enterprise economical sta-bility estimation have been analyzed. The enterprise economical estimation procedure has been improved. The synthetical diagnostics procedures of enterprise economical sta-bility have been improved. The selection criterion of order of management influence on diagnostics areas has been suggested. The diagnostics area which claims the immediate attention of enterprise management has been identified. The specific directions and methods of management influence on the chosen diagnostics area have been worked out for the purpose of enterprise economical stability increase. The worked out recommenda-tions and research results concerning enterprise economical stability diagnostics have been used in the machine-building enterprise activities.
