Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the important scientific and applied objectives of the reliability and safety of work of the water supply circulating system (WSCS) of NPP. In this thesis dynamical characteristics of closed type WSCS were studied in case of different accidents, and the recommendations were developed for design of new WSCS, with the purpose to avoid possible water discharging on the site. To achieve this goal, the next problems were solved in this work: the mathematical model was developed and numerically solved of hydrodynamic proc-esses for closed type WSCS and WSCS with open channel; the influences of pumps coast down, return pipelines length, cooler pond andwater accumulating tanks areas were studied on hydraulic processes dynamics, as well as spouts cross section inwater accumulating tanks obstructions, check valves implementation on cooler pump well delivery pipes and partial pipes replacement with open channels.
