Essay

Synchronization at the level of attractor is studied for a compound system of coupled Berger equations. It is proved that the attractor is upper semi-continuous with respect to the system coupling parameter in the Hausdorff metrics. A particular case of two coupled equations with nonlinear damping is considered. The conditions to be imposed on the damping functions to ensure the system synchronization are obtained. The system of two locally coupled equations is considered. It is proved that the system is partially synchronized on the domain of coupling localization.
