Essay

Object - soliton fiber-optical transmission systems; the purpose - research of ways of throughput increase of soliton fiber-optical transmission lines with various ways of construction of linear paths and working out of theoretical positions on designing soliton transmission systems on the basis of lines with an operated dispersion, methods - the theory of nonlinear optics, a mathematical apparatus of differential and integral calculus, probability theory and mathematical modeling; novelty - mathematical model of soliton lines with a dispersion which changes on length, for two kinds soliton impulses with taking into account losses, dispersive and nonlinear effects of an optical fiber is offered for the first time; results - statistical estimations of total jitter of fundamental soliton in a fiber with a dispersion which changes on length, and soliton with dispersive management are received, including influence of Raman effect and the dispersions of the third order, the algorithm of reduction is offered and the problem of optimization of influence of Gordon-Haus phenomena is solved; branch - engineering science.
