Object: processes of management by level of economic security of the industrial enterprises. Subject: theoretical-methodical and practical aspects of an of economic security's level for the enterprises of metallurgical and machine-building industry. Novelty: for the first time the conceptual approach to formation of a universal scale for estimation of economic security's level of managed subjects which consists in generalization of Harrington's desirability function for the industrial enterprises of various industries is developed. Methodical bases of systematizing of the enterprise's economic security's components; methodical approaches to quantitative and qualitative estimation of level of the industrial enterprises' economic security have been improved.
