Essay

The thesis is devoted to working out and clinical approbation of the improved technology of full removable dentures manufacturing in unfavorable condition of the prosthetic bed. The analysis of statistic material allowed defining the need for complete plate denture of population of Kharkov and Kharkov's region, which equals 16,1% and 14,2% accordingly. The advantages of new worked out material "Orthocor-ST" was confirmed on the basis of physical and mechanical researches in comparison with its prototype "Orthocor". In the dissertation the improved method of 3D modeling of the edge of the complete plate denture by means of thermoplastic impression mass "Orthocor-ST" is presented. Functional effectivity of the application of the method 3D modeling of the edge of the complete plate denture is supported by the data of clinical researches. Shortening of adaptation term, decreasing of a number of the complete plate denture corrections, improving of the functional effectivity and fixation of the complete plate denture allow to recommend the improved method to be inculcated into practice of the dental clinics.
