Essay

The author suggested the method of making cosmetic coverage for the pressed-soldered bridge prostheses. Since this method provides certain social and economic effect the uses of such orthopaedic constructions may be essentially widened for the treatment of stomatological patients. According to all denture quality estimation criteria 95,16% of traditionally made dentures and 97,40% of the dentures, made with the use of the suggested method, received positive characteristics. Excellent physico-mechanical and aesthetical denture properties explain this fact. Conducted physico-mechanical, toxicological-hygienic, sanitary, chemical and clinical researches proved that the suggested method of making aesthetic pressed-soldered fixed dentures may be recommended for the application in clinical practice.
