Essay

The thesis is devoted to synthesis and investigation of new conductive polyaniline-polycarbonate composites doped by different acid-dopants. The kinetics of aniline polymerization in solution and in dispersions by spectral and open-circuit potential methods has been investigated. For the first time moments of formation of different forms of polyaniline has been determined. The aniline polymerization in dispersion media is accompanied with precipitation of polyaniline shell on surface of the dispersed particles. The obtained results testified to formation of the composite "core-shell" particles. Effects of different acid-dopants and oxidants on the aniline polymerization behaviour, the thermostability, conductivity and strength of the obtained polyaniline-polycarbonate composites were studied.
