Golovko I. Criminal responsibility for cruel treating of animals.

This dissertation touches upon the researches of problems of criminal responsibility and law punishment for abusing and cruel treating of animals. In Ukraine the theme is researched for the first time. The historical and comparative aspects of regulations of responsibility for abusing and cruel treating of animals are discussed as well as the problematic and contradictory questions of objective and subjective characteristics. The juxtaposition of the actions qualified by the art. 299 of the Criminal Law of Ukraine and the other felonies is made. It's proposed to ample the implementation of the art. 299 of the Criminal Law of Ukraine by shifting its limits and applying the other types of criminal responsibility. Also some drawbacks of the certain law questions are discussed and propositions concerning the consummating of the lagislation are put forth.
