Rybachuk M. Prevention of terrorism by bodies of internal affairs of Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted the complex scientific research of topical problems in legislative system of Ukraine especially in criminal law. The work assesses the role of the bodies of internal affairs of Ukraine in prevention of terrorism, especially the Militia, and discusses the key legal issues. The dissertation examines main approaches to understanding such phenomenon as terrorism. Comprehensive analysis of Ukrainian legislation considering prevention of terrorism and criminal responsibility for terrorist acts is carried out. Author analyses definition of terrorism in laws of Ukraine and proposes new definition of terrorism, terrorist crime and antiterrorist legislation. Revealed urgent need for establishing such new legal category as terrorist crimes, classification of terrorist crimes is proposed.
