The process of influencing of treatment of motor oils is a research object by the electrostatic field on efficiency of diesel locomotive oil system. Researches were conducted on the base of theory of reliability, mathematical statistics, method of systems analysis, modern positions of physics, tribotehniks, mechanics. The of theoretical and practical problem of rise of efficiency of the oil system of diesel engine is decided by setting of device for treatment of motor oils by the electrostatic field.
