Litins'ka O. Isostenic and acatalectic utterance in ancient scepticism

The object of the research is sceptical studies of Pyrrho and Sextus Empiricus and epistemological conceptions of Middle and New Academy. The methods of the research include analytical, comparatively-historical, hermeneutical methods and theoretical positions of communicative philosophy and philosophy of language. The scientific novelty of the results of the dissertation research is determined by that first in Ukrainian science by the object of the special historical and philosophical research is examined. History of ancient scepticism is examined in foreshortening of analysis of pyrrhonism and academic scepticism as spaces of embodiment of two types of utterance. The conclusions and theoretical positions of the dissertation research deepen understanding of the history of ancient scepticism, extend theoretical basis of the historical and philosophical analysis of ancient Greek philosophical conceptions. The theoretical value of work is related to the ground of position about the analysis of types of utterances for interpretation of ancient scepticism on the whole. The practical value of work consists of possibility to use results in the scientific researches and educational process, at preparation of dictionary and encyclopedic reasons, divisions of textbooks and at preparation of rates on history of ancient philosophy.
