The object is paradontal status of persons with schizophrenia; the aim is the improvement of treatment and prevention of the periodontal diseases in persons with schizophrenia; the methods are epidemiological, clinical, cytological, microbiological, morphological, statistics; the new approach lies in the examination of periodontal condition and studies of the peculiarities of the clinical course of periodontal diseases in patients with schizophrenia; the results are the elaboration and appreciation of grounded treatment and prevention of generalized parodontitis in patients with schizophrenia; introduced in the healing process of stomatological establishments and in educational process; the field is stomatology.
