Dissertation work is sanctified to development of theoretical and practical positions in relation to forming and management of enterprises of oil and gas industry productive potential. A research object are processes of forming and management of enterprises of oil and gas industry productive potential. Theoretical and methodological bases of research are fundamental positions on questions an economic theory and economy of enterprise, home and foreign researches on questions forming and management of enterprises productive poten-tial. It is in-process worked out : methods estimations of productive potential, which foresee the calculation of integral index of produc-tive potential; economic mechanism of increase of level of productive potential of enterprises of oil and gas industry. The methods of forming and management of enterprise which enables to forecast the change of level of productive potential and choose the that or other variant of strategy of development of enterprise productive potential are offered.
