Andrushko A. The gerontological criminality: criminological description and prevention

The dissertation is the first complex research on the gerontological criminality in the Ukrainian criminal and criminological science. The dissertation analyzes the patterns of influence that depopulation and population aging exert on the dynamics and structure of gerontological criminality. The criminological analysis of the contemporary situation of gerontological crime, its reasons and conditions is made. The importance of the advanced age for the sentencing and completion of sentence is analyzed. The set of gerontological criminality prevention measures is designed. A number of recommendations directed at the improvement of Ukraine's gerontological criminality counteraction legislation is framed.
