Object - the process of removing moisture from sapropel - mechanical dewatering, heating with the currents of high frequency (microwave), sorption of dehydration and its working bodies and mechanisms to implement these processes; goal - improving the efficiency of dehydration of lake sapropel based on the development of new technologies and mechanized ground ; methods - theoretical studies conducted with the use of a system approach, mechanical and mathematical modeling, theory of drying materials, analysis of mathematical models carried out by applied and developed programs on a PC, novelty - study the feasibility of the method and sequence of individual operations in mechanized dehydration technology of lake's sapropel, which is based on the system revealing their influence on the quality and energy usage substantiated sequence of rational use of mechanical, thermal (microwave heating) and sorption methods of dehydration of lake's sapropel and set the boundary limits of humidity changes for each of them, the impact of operating modes and design parameters screw press based on theoretical concepts and multifactor experiment results - on the basis of theoretical and experimental investigations proved mechanized dehydration technology of lake's sapropels and means for its implementation, for each stage of optimum conditions and rational parameters, materials of theoretical and experimental studies approved and taken into implementation by Polissia research station of the National Research Center, Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry named after AN Sokolovsky, LLP "Volynsaprofos".
