The object of research is the motivation system of industrial enterprises (taking metallurgical industry as an example).The subject of research is theoretical and methodological and scientific and practical providing of the process of developing of effective motivation system of industrial enterprise management. Methods are the following: analysis and synthesis, statistic methods, cluster analysis, grouping, comparison and expert evaluation, economic and mathematic modeling, graph theory, graphical method. First developed: the cognitive model of motivation system of industrial enterprise was developed.Improved: the subjective and process approach to forming of effective motivation system of industrial enterprise management; the evaluation method of quality of motivation system of management, the method of forming of effective motivation system of industrial enterprise management.Was given further development to the denotation of concept ‘motivation system of management’, were classified the instruments which are used in motivation system of industry enterprise management. Application area: industrial enterprises.
