Essay

The object of study - the processes of the convolutional encoding and decoding data. The purpose of study - development of methods aimed at reducing the computational complexity of convolutional encoding and decoding of data and increase the speed of their processing in the encoder and decoder. The methods of study: methods of the theory of error-correcting coding, theory of Galois fields, number theory and digital signal processing; methods of complexity theory; methods of the theory of digital automata. The scientific result - the method developed algebraic representation of convolutional codes in the frequency domain, which allows to develop new methods for convolutional encoding and decoding data with reduced computational complexity to improve the speed of data processing in the encoder and decoder. The practical result - the algorithms developed frequency convolutional encoding and decoding data with reduced computational complexity and practical recommendations on the technical implementation. Introduction - UkrSART, CKKB "Proton". An application domain - telecommunications systems and networks.
