Skyba E. The Specific Features of Gender Theory Formation in Postmodern Philosophy (historical - and philosophical analysis).

The objects are historical and philosophical context of postmodern society. The aim is to uncover and expose the social and philosophical analysis of the content, nature and role of gender studies and feminist theory in a postmodern culture. The methods are historicism, systematic approach, dialectical unity of the unit, the special and general, climbing from abstract to concrete, dialectical and comparative methods. The thesis stresses both the gender theory and postmodernism have the same ways of the interpretation of the people's experience (deconstruction, germination) and of the explanation methods. But feminism approaches to gender theory as the system of culture explanation can not exist without the constructive methodology, which proved the differences between sexes are not natural, they are caused with the social, cultural women's marginalization. Such analysis can not be done without usage of the feminist interpretation methodology. The philosophic aspects of the feminism and gender discourses, their postmodernism interpretation are investigated in the thesis. That's why, the philosophic and outlook conflict between the feminist and gender theories is examined. The gender discourse in postmodernism philosophy, philosophic basis statements of the gender theory formation and the main aspects of the interaction of gender philosophy and postmodernism philosophy are researched.
