Essay

In the dissertation the question of genesis and localization of the Jewish places in territory of Ukraine (Littlе Russia) especially social and cultural structure shtetl with a broad range of historical documents, memoirs of materials, literary and artistic heritage of contemporaries (Sholom-Aleichem, Marc Chagall, D.Glikman). Based on the study of various documentary and artistic evidence in the work concludes a multi-level manifestation of the musical factor in the shtetl life. In the thesis the peculiarities of intonation space village. Analytical observations on various samples of synagogue music (cantorial performance, choral pieces of Jewish liturgy) and folk examples (instrumental tradition Kleizmer, genres vocal melodies) revealed in their typical intonation patterns, to trace the quality of intonation in various stages of deployment and music to follow the interaction of the Jewish shtetl of musical melodies from other nationalities musical environment. Scientific novelty lies in the fact that it was the first put to and examines the holistic view of the musical culture of the Jewish village in a broad historical and cultural context, identifying features of formation of intonational vocabulary all its components.
