Gutorova I. Agricultural Enterprises Competitiveness Formation

Object of research: forming the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in post-reform period. Goal of research: the justification of theoretic-methodical principles and forming of practical recommendations about increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. In the course of researching the following methods were used: the analysis and synthesis, abstract-logical, the method of groupings, cluster analysis, graphical, correlation and regression analysis, economic-mathematical modelling. Results of research: existing views are summarized and the own vision of the essence of “competition” and “competitiveness of agricultural enterprises” categories are disclosed; the factors, forming the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, are systematized; the methodical approach to estimation the competitiveness level of agricultural enterprises is offered; the current state and the trends of development of agricultural enterprises of Kharkiv region are revealed, the level of its competitiveness is estimated; the influence of resource provision level on competitiveness of agricultural enterprises is researched; the dynamics of changes in the competitiveness of major agricultural products and the factors, that have an influence on its level, are analyzed; the optimal and minimum level of specialization and concentration of agricultural production in agricultural enterprises are proved. The positions of increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises are developed and implemented.
