Thesis is dedicated to research of complex problems connected with repeat in the investigative activity. The repeat in the investigative activity is characterized on the basis of scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, the features of this work are viewed. The repeat is analyzed in the investigation proceedings. The classification of repeat in the investigative activity is presented with specific criteria. The causes and conditions of repeat in the investigative activity are uncovered. The propositions to the criminal procedure law concerning improvements of general provisions on the settlement of the repeated (additional) investigation acts are expressed. The organizational, tactical and psychological factors in repeated investigative activity are defined and analyzed. It is emphasized on content of repeat due to the peculiarities of the investigator. The problems of repeat associated with countering the investigation are studied.
