Shebanic D. Industrial Development of Donbass in the Middle of The XIX- at the Beginning of the XX Century

This research summarizes the Soviet researchers' experience in history of coal-mining, metallurgical and railway industry of Donbass. It interprets the main research trends in which the industry's establishment and development, the process of industry monopolization, the formation of the working class and the conditions of the work in the region of Donbass in the second half of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries are displayed. The main historiographical sources are discovered, systemized and described. The conceptual and methodological principles are determined, as well as the most characteristic trends of knowledge accumulation in the soviet historiography. The author distinguishes in his thesis three main periods: The first - the middle of the 20's-30's of the XX century - is the period of the research materials accumulation, the scientific research subject foundation, the pluralism in this problem research. The second - the middle of the 30's-50's of the XX century - the period of interpretation of the events in the tideway of the Marxist methodological paradigm and the ideological demands of the time. The third - the second middle of the 50's - beginning of the 90's of the XX century - the period of intensification of the research work, extension of the publications themes, reconsideration of the matter's points of view.
