Object: the durability of structural elements with geometrical stress concentrators in the condition of tension-compression and bending loading; aim: the development of the method of durability calculation for aircraft structures loaded by cyclic tension-compression and bending; methods: method of durability calculation by the local stress-strain state, finite element method, tensometric method; results: the ability to decrease the amount of experimental researches at the designing stage, ability of choosing rational structure ensuring design service life; new approach: the method of durability calculation for structural elements has been developed, for the first time the models of deformation of D16T material in negative mean stresses range have been proposed, for the first time the concept of generalized stress concentration factor has been proposed; field: aerospace production.
