Terentiev A. System for prognosis modeling of growth of pine plantations in Ukrainian Polissya

The thesis is devoted to development of system of models for prognosis of growth of pine plantations in Ukrainian Polissya. In the thesis pure pine stands of Ukrainian Polissya are compared with mixed ones; their division is updated in order to improve prognosis precision for main mensurational indices. Change of the abovementioned indices in pure and mixed pine stands of Ukrainian Polissya is investigated and their dynamics is modeled. Dynamical bonity scale and yield tables for modal pure and mixed pine stands are developed. System of models for prognosis of growth of the main mensurational indices in pure and mixed pine stands is proposed for actualization of forest fund of Ukraine. In order to conduct the research, database "Stand-wise mensurational characteristic of forests" from information system "Forest resource management" developed by PA "Ukrderzhlisproekt", and database of temporary sample plots were used. Dynamical bonity scale for pure and mixed pine plantations of Ukrainian Polissya; modal yield tables for pine plantations depending on main species share in stand composition and bonity classes (site indices); algorithm and complex of mathematical models for actualization of growth prognosis of main mensurational indices in pine plantations can be recommended for practical use in production process..
