Object: novels of British and Ukrainian writers D. H. Lawrence "Lady Chatterlay's Lover", "Sons and Lovers", V. K. Vynnychenko "Zapysky Kyrpatoho Mefistofelya", "Chesnist' z Soboyu". Aim: comparative analysis of gender aspects in the novels of D. Lawrence and V. Vynnychenko. Practical importance: the results are used in studying subjects on the history of foreign literature of 20-th century, Ukrainian literature, literature of England, in researches on comparative literature. Methods: typological, genetic and historical, psychoanalytical, bigraphical, naratological, intertextual.
