Object of research: purification process of raw brine from hydromineral raw materials. Purpose of the study: the purification process development of the raw brine from hydromineral raw materials of marine origin and development of new technology in the case of using lacustrine raw materials in soda ash manufacture. Research methods: determination of physical-chemical parameters of salt samples - in accordance with DSTU 4886.1:2007-DSTU 4886.24:2007. The components concentration in the solutions - titrimetric, gravimetric, photo colorimetric and atomic adsorption methods. Statistical processing of experimental data is made using methods of mathematical statistics with application of Excel and Statistica programs. Theoretical and practical results: scientific and practical problem of technology development of brine purification from marine hydromineral raw materials is solved, application in the soda ash manufacture will significantly reduce the reagents mass for purification, reduction of SO42-ion concentration in the purified brine, and brine purification technology of lacustrine raw materials, which contributes to the resource base expansion of soda ash manufacture. Novelty: the dependence of ion concentration SO42-in the purified brine on the mass concentrations ratio MgSO4/MgCl2 in raw brine from the marine hydromineral resources. It is offered a method of determining the optimal degree of raw brine sulfurization, which minimizes the soda consumption of to purify the brine and to limit the concentration of SO42-ions in the purified brine. Is proved the technological feasibility of calcium hydroxide adding into the purification process in several stages, allow on account of supersaturation brine decrease of calcium sulfate to obtain purified brine with content of SO42-ion is not more than 3,1 kg / m 3. Established that the raw materials from the lake brine is characterized by a variable composition throughout the year, and such ratio of concentrations of Ca2 / Mg2, which does not provide the necessary degree of brine purification o by using existing technologies. Offered technological method allows using lake hydromineral raw materials as a raw material source for soda ash manufacture, which includes a change in the mass ratio of Ca2 / Mg2 concentrations in the raw brine by additional introduction of calcium ions. Established that the minimum required ratio of mass concentrations of Ca2 / Mg2 in raw brine is from 1,3 to 1,6. Implementation degree: The brine purification research results of hydromineral resources are used in JSC "Crimean Soda Plant" (Ukraine) and in the working draft of soda manufacture Kazsoda LLC (Kazakhstan). Application scope: chemical industry.
