This thesis is a research in which legal matter of challenge to the advocate from participation in the case in Ukrainian criminal legal proceedings has been researched at monographic level. The right to choose the advocate has been analysed by the author of the thesis. Requirements towards advocates and towards providing qualified legal aid have also been considered. The legal nature of the challenge to the advocate from participation in the criminal case has been determined.
