Essay

Law nature, regularities of establishing and peculiarities of application of the tradition law in Walachian law villages that existed in the Ukrainian lands during ХІІІ-XVIII have been studied based on the analysis of archives and scientific documents. Arrangement of the village self-government based on the Walachian law, complement and competence of the Walachian law courts and also the procedure of their fulfillment of law were researched. Taking into account historical law experience of the Ukrainian citizens of the Walachian law villages, changes to the valid law in the sphere of rural self-government and law have been suggested.
