Medovkina L. Konstantin Vasyljovich Kharlampovich (1870-1932): intellectual biography of the historian

The dissertation focuses on intellectual biography, educational, social and scientific activities of one of the outstanding scientists - VUAN Academician K.V. Kharlampovich (1870-1932).The work is based on numerous sources and archival materials, some of which were first introduced to the scientific. The author defines the main periods of the life and work of the scientist and analyzed the materials of the case investigation and found out unfounded accusations levelled against him. Investigated socio-cultural environment and scientific communications of the researcher, the nature of professional and personal relationship between him and his peers. A special place in the work examines areas of research and historical views of K.V. Kharlampovich.
