The dissertation is devoted to detection of peculiarities of actions implementation directed at accumulation and verification of evidence during a judicial investigation. A question of definition and essence of judicial investigation; the definition, legal nature, kinds of judicial actions, the role of a court as a subject of proof are considered. Procedural peculiarities of setting of extent and an order of sifting the evidence during a judicial investigation are revealed. Procedural order of examination and confrontation, expertise, line-up, presentation for inspection during a judicial investigation are explored. A possibility of application and procedural order of statements verification at locus delicti and an order of judicial experiment are defined. The procedural order of giving the commissions is analyzed. Suggestions concerning improvements of current criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine on the question of proof during a judicial investigation are introduced and substantiated.
