Research object is a process of forming and use of the fixed assets of agrarian enterprises of different legal forms of the Tcherkasy area in the conditions of market. The aim of dissertation research is a ground of theoretical and methodical positions of analysis of the state and dynamics of the fixed assets, development of recommendations in relation to optimal volumes, specific composition and priority directions of capital investments on their forming in the conditions of market. Research methods: abstractly logical; grouping; index; comparison and comparison; cross-correlation-regressive; tabular; graphic; settling-structural; modelling. Socio-economic essence of the fixed assets is exposed taking into account the features of their functioning in the conditions of market economy; methodical positions of analysis of economic efficiency of the fixed assets are certain in market conditions. The economic terms of menage agrarian enterprises are analysed in a region, level of material well-being and high-quality composition of the fixed assets, state of their recreation and economic efficiency.
