Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigation of adaptation of bean F.bona and sedge C.hirta plants to moisture deficit in conditions of crude oil pollution of soil. It was shown that crude oil pollution of soil has a stronger inhibition effect on the growth of aboveground part of sedge, than bean plants and stimulates development of underground part in both species. The results of the conducted investigation certify that complex of adaptive reactions of both F. bona і C. hirta plants for maintain of necessary for vital functions of homeostasis, in particular the plants water status under crude oil pollution, is specifically for each species.
