The dissertation work is dedicated to the solving of the problems of grounding the science and theoretical positions and recommendations on the development and state support of the agrarian households and farms as the main forms of the small enterprise in the agriculture in the modern conditions. The economical national and foreign practice of its quantitative and qualitative characteristics is generalized in the dissertation. The role of the agrarian households and farming as the subjects of the enterprise in the agriculture is defined. Their development and the level of the budget support, money expenses and the effectiveness of the management are analyzed.
