Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of a technique of analytical investigation of nonlinear oscillatory processes in flexible elements of machines. By means of processing the experimental data it was approved that elastic characteristics of many of these elements have clearly marked nonlinear character. Mathematical models of oscillations for flexible elements of drive and transportation built in view of their nonlinear elastic performances, speed of longitudinal movement and an operation of continuous and discrete forces. Relations, defining agency of the above-stated factors on laws of a modification of amplitude and an oscillation frequency of flexible elements both for non-resonance and resonance cases are obtained.
