Dissertation is devoted the questions of creation of draft gears increased power-consuming of class of T1, development of mathematical model for determination of power characteristic of perspective friction-resilient draft gears and choice of rational parameters of their wedge system. The mathematical model of impacting of tank-car is improved with an obstacle. Investigational influence of power characteristic of draft gears on loading of railroad cars at their impacts with an barrier. The estimation of efficiency of work of draft gears of АПМ-120-Т1 is for the case of research of dynamics of freight train at transient behaviors of motion.
