Essay

Thesis deals with the peculiarities of adaptation in the neonatal period prematurely born children with a small mass, proposed optimization of care of children in this group by enriching food nursing mothers in the lactation period iodine preparations. It is shown that mothers who gave birth to premature LBW children, twice as likely to occur thyroid pathology on ultrasound. In umbilical cord blood of their children significantly reduced the level of thyroid hormones, that iodine deficiency of the mother may affect the adaptation of the newborn. It is shown that the enrichment of the diet of breastfeeding mothers, premature birth weight babies, iodine therapy significantly increases the daily amount of milk and the duration of breast-feeding a child in the first year of life, improves the adaptation of prematurely born children, which shows an increase in daily weight gain, decreased incidence of vomiting and bloating abdomen, improves the quality of red blood and calcium in the blood of infants and leads to a reduction of morbidity in the first year of life, anemia, rickets, and acute viral infections.
