The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive study of the theory and practice of economic mechanism to ensure competitiveness of the enterprise of information technology in the modern business environment. The thesis includes the study of theoretical, methodological and organizational aspects of determining the competitiveness of enterprises in the information technology market. The work reveals the theoretical essence and characteristics of competitiveness of enterprises of information technology determined the levels and components of competitiveness; studies the main external and internal factors of influence the competitiveness of enterprises in information technology. The research analyzed the development and current conditions of information technology market in Ukraine, marketplaces, values and development prospects of domestic enterprises of information technology. Existing approaches to assess the competitiveness of enterprises, and their advantages and disadvantages are characterized. The dissertation developed and implemented methodological approaches to assessing the competitiveness of enterprises of information technology to its basic components, which allows determining the set of its competitive advantages and disadvantages, to generate recommendations for enhancing competitiveness and improving market position. A mechanism to ensure the economic competitiveness of information technology and the economic efficiency of its implementation are developed.
