Yemchuk O. Sergiy Ivanovych Maslov (1880-1957) as a scientist, an organizer of archival affairs and librarianship

The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of the scientific biography of S. I. Maslov, his activity as a scientist, an organizer of archival affairs and librarianship. The process of forming of the talented scientist and his wide range of interests under the influence of the family and the scientific school of V. M. Perets is researched for the first time. On the basis of the analysis of archival sources of S. I. Maslov's personal fund the range of main directions of his scientific works is extended and concretized, the actuality and the great value of his works are determined. His contribution into the development of the archival education is shown and the results of his works in special historic disciplines are described. The stages of forming S. I. Maslov's library and his works in bibliology and bibliography are researched.
