Essay

The theoretical and experimental studies of the interaction of nitrogen with alloyed converter bath in various stages of the melt blowing by oxygen and neutral gases is implemented. Found that the optimal period for alloyed by nitrogen bath is a recovery period of melting. The method of calculation of the argon-nitrogen mixture for the regulated alloying the melt by nitrogen is proposed. Technological features of corrosion-resistant steel smelting of high-carbon alloyed semi-product is investigated. It is shown that the technology of gas-oxygen refining (GOR) allows the use of semi-product without restrictions on the start carbon content.
