Complex generalized - laboratory - instrumental investigations of 122 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), 37 patients from them with RA and metabolic syndrome (МS); 44 patients with coronary artery disease and 27 healthy is presents in dissertation. It is shown that for the atherosclerotic defeat of vessels for patients with RA and presence of MS nosotropically is characteristic dyslipidemia, insulinoresistention, increase of activity of system inflammation, level of leptin and adiponektin, processes of lipids peroxydation with the decline of antioxidant defence, increase of thickness of intima-media, eccentric remodeliring of myocardium of the left ventricle, decline of patient's life quality. Expediency of the use of atorvastatin is nosotropic reasonable as antiatherosclerotic and antiinflammatory drugs for patients with RA and pioglitason with presence of MS at patients with RA, owing to their positive influence on the dynamics of clinic, instrumental, biochemical indexes.
