Essay

The thesis deals with theoretical, methodological and practical recommendations on how to form and improve mechanisms of state regulation of the national innovation system. The author draws theoretical generalizations on the nature of the national innovation system and state as its development regulator. The thesis suggests a two level model of national innovation system regulation based on cooperation between governmental and entrepreneurial institutions. It analyses the Ukraine national innovation system and prospects of its development, studies practices of EU national innovation systems development.
