Essay

The dissertation presents a complex stylistic analysis of special lirerary and special colloquial vocabulary of the discourse of David Lodge’s novels. Systemic, structural, dynamic and functional parameters of the lexis of various stylistic layers have been investigated and supplemented by a suggested layer of embarrassisms. The productivity of coining occasionalisms in the discourse of David Lodge’s novels has also been traced.
