Essay

The thesis focuses on a complex study of ideological discourse which is actualized through the texts of broadsheets’ editorials. The interaction between lingual and ideological factors results in a separate type of discourse – ideological. The fundamental communicative strategies of its realization are the strategy of positive presentation of “our” group and negative presentation of “their” group. The dominant concept of ideological discourse is ideologem.
