The thesis is dedicated to the complex justification of the theoretical and legal, the organizational and the educational-didactic principles of the law education of the Ukrainian population, taking into account the educational and legal, as well as organizational activities of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The essence, the place and the role of the law education for the national population in the educational area have been identified. The author justifies the main tools of the legal socialization of the population, such as: aw education of the population; law education of the pupils and the students; normative and legal system; legal framework of the state; scientific, and first of all, law literature; mass-media means.
