The paper analyzes the current level of preparation of iron-ore materials in the yards of metallurgical enterprises, which made it possible to identify ranges of values of main parameters and factors affecting the formation of multilayer stacks. Based on the balance balance method and set the hierarchical system of logical laws of change of chemical composition and physical properties of iron-ore on process of overload in the yard solved the problem of predicting the chemical composition of charge materials. Developed a decision support system for managing the process of forming a stack.
